We are all paying more for gifts this holiday season- if we can even get them.

Let's face it, everyone is being pushed to shop earlier, and that means the credit card bills will come sooner- and possibly be bigger. 

The panic is real and so are the price hikes. We could have a holiday spending hangover before we even have a chance to celebrate. Take the stress out - and the financial mess out- with gifts that are never out of stock or delayed and where you can control what you spend.

Audio Book Subscriptions are a perfect option for someone in your life who you know loves to read or listen to podcasts or for busy parents who “wish they had more time to read.”

If they’re not comfortable dining out, you can give a gift card to UberEats or PostMates or meal delivery services and treat them to a date-night at home. This is great for last minute gifts since there is no shipping required, it can arrive instantly, and you can tailor the amount to whatever you want to spend.

Meal subscription service
If you weren’t used to cooking at home pre-COVID, you probably are now. Especially for parents, a meal subscription service is an amazing gift. 
It saves time and mental energy since you’re not having to think about what to cook and the ingredients are already portioned out (which means no wasting food). 
Bonus: they get to have fun trying new recipes with their family that they might not ever cook otherwise. 

Hello Fresh, Home Chef and Blue Apron are a few options. The price varies per service, but many of them come with introductory free meal offers. Plus, you can offer it as a gift card and again, that allows you to choose how much you spend.

 
And for the more adulting gifts- consider cocktail making subscriptions- I gifted my husband one (cocktail courier) and it has been a HUGE hit. You can usually order with or without alcohol- which would be a lower price point-but still the same impact.  

Annual Membership to the Local Zoo or Museum
Life got put on hold for so many people in the pandemic. Gifting an annual membership to the zoo or their favorite local museum is a great option for families who really need to get out. 
This is a gift for the whole family, so it might actually save you money vs individual gifts.
